Colorado Triathlete has covered triathlon in Colorado since 1999.
The founding publisher and editor, Kristen McFarland, began covering the racing scene with multiple print issues each year. Adam Hodges, an early reporter and writer for the magazine, became online editor in 2000. In 2004, Colorado Triathlete published its final print issue and became a fully online news source, and in 2022 Adam took over ownership from Kristen. Kristen remains an editor-at-large, contributing articles and photos.
Today the site is an archive of more than a quarter century of Colorado multisport: race reports, results, photo galleries, training articles and the original print issues. New articles and galleries still appear from time to time, and the race directory points to each race's official site for current dates.
